Founder & CEO
Alfonso Williams
Currently a Senior Product Manager at Google residing in Miami, FL. His corporate experience includes 7 years at Facebook across product management, people management, and analytics roles. Academically, he studied at the University at North Carolina at Chapel Hill and their Kenan-Flagler Business School as an undergrad. On a business school scholarship, he also studied at Copenhagen Business School in Copenhagen, Denmark and The Chinese University of Hong Kong in Hong Kong.
He has over 10 years of corporate experience across Miami, FL, Dublin, Ireland, and New York, New York. Alfonso was inspired to start The 2% Project due to years of helping friends, family, and colleagues with their resumes. He wanted to utilize this skill to help women and people of color enter the corporate workplace in a more organized manner outside of his personal circle, and hence founded this start up. He is an expert in analytics and leading teams in developing digital products at global scale.

Nancy Torres
Currently a Principal Partner at Ulu Ventures residing in the Bay Area in California. Her corporate experience includes business development, analytics, behavioral economics research, diversity research, investment banking, and venture capital. Academically, Nancy studied at Harvard University where she attained her MBA and a master’s degree in Public Policy. As an undergraduate she earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at the University at North Carolina at Chapel Hill and their Kenan-Flagler Business School. On an undergraduate business school scholarship, she also studied at Copenhagen Business School in Copenhagen, Denmark and The Chinese University of Hong Kong in Hong Kong.
Nancy has over 9 years of corporate experience spanning startups and established corporations including Goldman Sachs, Uber, and Google in New York, New York and in Silicon Valley, California. She is an active leader and expert in diversity initiatives with years of experience in leading organizations and initiatives focused on social good, technology innovation for under-represented minorities, civil rights, social action, and aiding the LatinX community in driving progress in corporate representation.
Nancy is a key leader on the Board of Directors in driving us towards sustainable success.

Rachel Barden
Currently a Documentation Engineering Manager at Facebook residing in San Francisco, California. Her corporate experience includes over 7 years at Facebook across computer systems analysis and documentation engineering plus prior experience in telecommunications technology covering marketing intelligence and pricing analytics.
Academically, Rachel has dual bachelor’s degrees in Political Studies and Pure Mathematics from Queen’s University in Ontario, Canada. Currently, Rachel is also the Global Lead of the Women @ Facebook initiative, an internal organization that aids the 20,000+ female employees at Facebook in career growth, overcoming gender bias, improving mental health, and growing gender representation in technology through a wide variety of professional training, educational materials, guided workshops, conferences, professional speakers, and much more.
Rachel is an inspiration and an exceptional leader for us on the Board of Directors.

Vishal Korlipara
Currently a Senior Manager of Marketing Strategy at Intuit residing in San Francisco, California. His corporate experience includes growth marketing, digital marketing strategy, people management, analytics, and product management.
Academically, Vishal studied at Georgia Tech University attaining a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Accounting. Vishal has over 9 years corporate experience across a variety of both start-ups and established businesses in both the Atlanta, GA area as well as in the Bay Area within California.
Vishal is an industry expert in digital growth and in leading start-ups towards maturity and an invaluable asset to the Board of Directors.
